Shrewsbury
MANBAT Shrewsbury was established in 1980 just on the outskirts of Shrewsbury, the administrative centre of the county of Shropshire.
Shrewsbury is a beautiful medieval town situated within a loop of the River Severn. Roger Pemberton, the Managing Director of Manbat Ltd has his office here. The Manager of the Shrewsbury operation is Adrian Jones. Adrian joined Manbat, or Snowdon Batteries as it was then known, in 1981 and is this year celebrating 25 years with the company. His team is responsible for distributing batteries throughout Shropshire, part of Cheshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire, mid-Wales and of course the West Midlands conurbation.
The Shrewsbury branch opened in 1980. Adrian is assisted by Angie Bore, Chris Jones and Jamie Bramhall in customer service; Russell Davies, Martin Haddock and Dean Lutwyche in the warehouse and Martin Morris and Dave Roberts as delivery drivers. Area Sales Manager for the West Midlands is Sean Blocksidge assisted by Tim Gleed and Ken Bramhall.
