Guildford made a very successful move to new premises at the Riverside Business Centre in August 2007 just after Bristol had moved to very much larger and more suitable premises at the Mead Distribution Centre.

Manchester is next to move. We hope to move into a brand new 6,500 sq ft warehouse early in 2007. This will be followed by a move to new premises at Sunderland as soon as possible.

Manbat continues to ensure that its resources are capable of delivering the very best service to all its customers wherever they may be in the United Kingdom, Eire and now Europe.

Manbat has been distributing considerable quantities of specialist Marine product to the largest yacht chandler in France! A very exciting step forward.

There is no doubt that the huge increase in the price of lead on the London Metal Exchange (150% in twelve months) has made our work extremely challenging. It's at times like these that the benefits of a Quality Management System and proper Management Training show up. The price of lead shows no sign of stabilising just yet making price increases necessary on an almost monthly basis. This incurs a huge amount of work for our sales team and for our customers and we would like to thank all our customers for their patience over the past few months.

Manbat has one very important new employee. He is Tim Roberts a very experienced Supply Chain Manager who has joined our team at Shrewsbury and who has put into operation some very powerful forecasting software to ensure that even in these testing times we source the product our customers need - when they need it.
