Abergele

Situated halfway along the beautiful North Wales coast, Bodelwyddan is famous for its 'marble' church and castle. It is here that Manbat Ltd built a ten thousand square feet warehouse facility in the summer of 2006 and completed the move from nearby Abergele where the company had its beginnings in 1952. It was sad to leave but inevitable - the business had grown so much that it was beginning to become impossible to work efficiently at the old Ty Mawr premises. Abergele now handles all the business for North Wales, Chester, the Wirral and the whole of Ireland - the latter being a market showing very strong growth.

The Abergele team

The team at Bodelwyddan comprises Garry Crossfield as manager, Alan Weston, Shane Woodcock in sales and Matt Davies, Adam Turner, Mike Griffiths, Edward Weston, Geoff Brute, Adam Edwards, Scott Evans and Mark Fraser in orders and despatch.
Abergele first established the battery trade marks Glassklad and Snowdon. Hundreds of thousands of vehicles have been fitted with Snowdon batteries over the past 45 years, and in this part of the world these trade marks are synonomous with quality. The site is based at the following address
